I Hate Food Storage I do. I really do. In fact you’ll rarely hear me use those two words together in my home. Food storage is 50 pound bags of dusty, weevil-infested wheat, stale rice, and rock hard beans that I would never eat in a million years. Food storage is exploding cans of tomatoes, ferment...
These videos are very informative! They're a bit "primitive" as far as video and audio quality, but content-wise, I give them a thumbs up! Grab a cup of tea or coffee, a notebook, get comfy and LEARN. http://letusprepare.blogspot.com/2009/01/wendy-dewitt-food-storage-seminar.html :) XOXO L...

I actually used to cater parties with a fried of mine, I'm talking 200+ people parties too! And yet, still I am totally unable to make something as simple as a stupid bis...
Mine are heirlooms started from seeds. I wonder if they take longer? Mine are all heirlooms started from seed too. My aunt says it takes longer although, I don't know why it would. I cut up my first 2 Cherokee Purple tomatoes lat night and today and they are FABULOUS! I will definitely be planting ...
My kids go through a lot of oranges. I've been cutting the pith off the peels and drying the peels. They are AWESOME in tea! I also powdered some of them. I'm planning on making quite a bit of tomato powder this year because it adds so much flavor to sauces without making them too runny.
